Pick up to the Hotel 5:30 a.m
We leave from the bus station at 6:00 a.m. Later we travel per 3 or 4 hours until the small vaillage called Yanque.
In the circuit between Arequipa to Yanque we can see from the bus some animals such as ( llama, alpaca, vicuña and some local plants, as well as impressive view points).
In Yanque we will settle in a small family house.
Afterwards we will drink tea of coca leaf and then we will do a short circuit around the main plaza of Yanque where we will visit the main church and the museum of that village. Then we will return to the family house to have typical lunch.
After lunch we will start the short trekking surround Yanque circuit. We will observe fantastic views, local plants, people doing their agriculture work, etc.
Later on the circuit, we will visit the old Yanque village where we can observe old houses made of stone and clay. After a short time of resting we will visit the hot springs of Yanque where we will relax for about 1 or 2 hours. Their we will go back to the family house where we will have dinner and have free time to play guitar, to sing or to listen to folklore music.
Finally, we will past that night knowing how the life of the local people is.
We will leave from yanque around 5: 00 a.m with direction to “Cruz Del Cura”, daning the way we can observe beautiful views and people wearing their typical clothes from the bus. After traveling for two hours we will be to walk from “Cruz Del Cura” “until”Cruz Del Condor. On this way we will have breakfast in the mountain enjoying the nature and the canyon this trip will last approximately 45 minutes.
It’s very interesting because from these points we will see the canyon in its impressive view. Later we will arrive to “Cruz del Condor” where we are waiting for the flight of condors for 1 hour or 2 hours.
Next we will take a bus to return to Chivay. There we will have two options: the option is to visit the hot spring or the market to buy some presents.
The travelers have to take light clothes for the walk, as well, warm clothes for the night, swimming suit, trekking shoes, sun blocker, repellent for the mosquitos, sunglass, cap, water, sour fruits, chocolates, lemon sweets and camera.
