Visit the famous floating islands of the Lake Titicaca, a gorgeous village located right on the waters of the Lake Titicaca. Here you will learn about the life of the Uros people, their history and traditions. Venture on this fantastic journey and meet a people considered one of the first ethnic groups populating the Andean region.
In the Morning A.M you will be picked up from your hotel and then transferred down to the harbor. At the harbor we will board a motorized boat that will take us to the Islands of the Uros natives. The boat ride last about 30 minutes and offers fine views of the Lake Titicaca, as well as from the surrounding mountains.
Upon our arrival our group we will be welcomed, who afterwards will show us around. Our guide will explain important aspects of the live of these people and then you have the chance for a ride in a small reed boat made by the Uros people (extra charge). In Uros you will be able to purchase magnificent handicraft made by the Uros women. Their little souvenir shops are located outdoor and display an array of products elaborated mainly made by hand.
12:30hrs. we will return to the city of Puno. Upon your arrival at the harbor you will be picked up and then transferred to your hotel. End of our service.
