MOUNTAIN CLIMBING: MOUNT AMPATO 4 Days / 3 Nights

ITINERARY:

DAY 01: AREQUIPA / AMPATO BASE CAMP

Early pick up at your hotel and private bus transfer to Mount Ampato. On the way we will visit some interesting places such as markets and plazas. Upon arrival at Sallani (4700 masl) we will install our camp base.

DAY 02: BASE CAMP / CAMP 2

We will instal our second camp site at 5400 masl after a 5 hours climb.

DAY 03: CAMP 2 / SUMMIT / CAMP 2

After a 6 hours climb we will reach the summit of Mount Ampato (6318 masl) where Mommy Juanita was found. We wll visit some archaeological remains and then return back to camp 1.

DAY 04: CAMP 2 / BASE CAMP

After breakfast we will return to base camp where our bus will be waiting for us. Return to Arequipa and transfer to your hotel. End of services.
